Guest Speaker, Senator David Norris

The Institute of Minority Entrepreneurship (IME) and the Irish Gay Business Association (IGBA) are delighted to host the first Gay Business Conference in Ireland, featuring esteemed speakers Senator David Norris, Rory O’Neill (PantiBar) and Dr Thomas Cooney (President of the European Council for Small Business).

A key question that will be raised on the day is “Segregation or Support – Is there a need for an Irish Gay Business Association?”, which will be discussed during an afternoon panel.

Previously billed as a full day conference, due to feedback this will now be an afternoon conference to accommodate all interested parties, with tickets available for just €10 at the door when you pre-register here.

This one day conference will take place in the Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin and will address both the challenges and opportunities unique to the gay community within a business context. Key speakers include Senator David Norris, Rory O’Neill (Winner GALA Gay Business Person of 2009 – Pantibar) and DIT’s own Dr. Thomas Cooney, with seminars to be hosted by IBM and the IGBA.

Places are strictly limited, so please register in advance to avoid disappointment.
